Timeless, Refined, Elegant
At the corner of Hornby and Pacific streets on the former site of Umberto Menghi’s legendary Il Giardino restaurant, ACDF and IBI Group Architects have designed a graceful 375-foot white stone and stainless steel tower to be built to LEED Gold standards. Grosvenor Pacific is destined to offer more than 200 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom condos, along with three two-storey townhomes. In a creative homage to Leslie House and the heritage townhouses further west on Pacific Street, a perforated corten steel colonnade at the tower’s base will present a “ghostly memory” of the historic identity of Vancouver.

Although Grosvenor Pacific will provide residents with 238 underground parking stalls, its location at the intersection of two bike lanes offers more convenient two-wheeled access to all parts of downtown, including Sunset Beach, English Bay, Stanley Park and the seawall. Pick up local produce at the Yaletown Famers Market or stroll down the street to hop the Aquabus for the bounty and delights of Granville Island. Major festivals, such as the Vancouver Jazz Festival, the Celebration of Light fireworks competition, and Gay Pride, are all at your doorstep. With the development of nearby Vancouver House and other prominent projects, Hornby Slopes is poised to become even more enriched with the addition of new residents, arts and culture, and retail amenities.
